Basil Mozzarella Salad

Basil Mozzarella Salad

Sometimes less is more. This recipe is one of our girls’ favorites. They always request it and get excited about. Easy, tasty and makes the family happy…how can you go wrong? Give it a try! It’s also great to pack up for lunch.


1 oz basil (fresh) (chopped)

3 hearts romaine lettuce (chopped)

1 10 oz package tomato(es) (cherry) (halved)

1 8 oz package mozzarella balls (halved)

Balsamic vinegar (to taste)

Black pepper (to taste)


  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Chop lettuce, chop basil (about 1 handful), cut cherry tomatoes in half, and cut (about 5-6 oz of the container) mozzarella balls in half.
  3. Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir well.
  4. Top with balsamic and black pepper to taste.
