The “mr. grinch” – Green Smoothie

In our house we make 3 batches of green smoothies per day. A batch is about 8 cups (or about 64 oz). We split this in the morning with our girls (Tyler takes about 30 oz, Kady about 15 oz and we split the rest). The other two batches are split between me and Karen (I may have a little more than half). The ingredients on this recipe should make about 18 batches of the Mr. Grinch smoothie.

dandelion greens (2 bunch(es))

red chard (1 bunch(es))

collard greens (1 bunch(es))

kale (1 bunch(es))

spinach (4 lbs)

ginger root (1 piece(s))

cinnamon

Warrior Blend Protein Powder (Sunwarrior)

Instructions

  1. Place the following in your vita-mixer and blend: 2 cup(s) water, 1 scoop Warrior Blend Protein (by Sunwarrior), 1 banana (peeled), ½ orange (peeled), 2 small pieces of pineapple, 1 tomato, 1 carrot, 1 stalk of celery, 10 sprigs parsley, 4-6 dandelion greens, ⅔ cup broccoli, 1 leaf – red chard, 1 leaf – collard greens, 1 leaf kale, 2-3 handfulls spinach, 1 slice of ginger root, 1 small piece cinnamon, 1 mushroom, 1 cup ice.
