Before you check your inbox & start in on your first menu, here are a few things to ensure you get the most from your membership.

You’ve given yourself a great gift by opening your life to what you’ll discover during your time in The Kitchen Skinny.

Of course, the commitment you’ve made to your health and to The Kitchen Skinny is bound to meet up with some resistance somewhere in your life. Any time you make a new commitment, life has a way of serving up experiences that will test your commitment.

It’s what you do when this happens that determines your success.

We will do everything we can to make dinner something you look forward to – the food will make you feel good, the energy we serve it up with will always be positive, and we’ll always throw in a dash of humor.

But, the commitment is still your own. This is about you and your health.

So, set yourself up for success. How?

  • Dedicate time in each day to make dinner a priority. No matter what kind of day you’re having – don’t let it steal your dinner. Believe us, eventually, dinner time will become a special time you look forward to – unwinding and relaxing. It won’t seem that way at first, but we promise, you’ll get there. Until then, you have to rely on your commitment.
  • Create an atmosphere for yourself at dinner time. Play some good music. Light a candle. Make dinner an experience. We’ll make it fast – but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t slow down a bit and savor it. Just this practice alone will change your health.
  • When you do get off track….just get back on. Don’t worry about what you’ve missed. Don’t beat yourself up. You don’t even have to apologize or forgive yourself. Just let it go and start over next week. New habits take time to form. Don’t let a small mistake become a permanent one. Just jump back on the bandwagon and get moving.

Stick with your commitment to The Kitchen Skinny because it’s important. And, when life gets in the way, remind yourself of your priorities. This isn’t just about ‘dinner’. It’s about your health, your well being, and having the energy you need to live your best life.
